Our Governance

SURESH maintains a transparent, accountable and participatory governance framework that ensures institutional integrity, effective decision-making, and sustainable development.
The structure clearly separates policy formulation, oversight and operational management with defined roles, internal controls, and compliance with statutory, financial and ethical standards.
Core governance policies cover financial management, human resources, risk mitigation, safeguarding and transparency, ensuring all activities align with the organization’s mission and long-term goals.
General Body
The General Body is the highest governing authority, providing strategic direction, approving plans, budgets, and audited accounts. It ensures statutory compliance and reviews institutional performance periodically. Policies include structured decision-making, meeting procedures, resolution documentation, and accountability to community priorities.
Executive Committee
The Executive Committee oversees policy implementation, program supervision, and financial oversight. Comprising seven experienced members, it monitors operations, approves expenditures, strengthens partnerships and ensures compliance with organizational policies. Key policies cover financial oversight, procurement, risk management, audits and stakeholder engagement, ensuring ethical and credible governance.

Management Team
Led by the Executive Director, the Management Team handles day-to-day operations and program execution. Staff roles include Administration Officer, Finance & Accounts Manager, and Office Assistant. Policies cover administration, finance, HR, reporting, monitoring and compliance, ensuring programs are effectively implemented and aligned with governance directives.
