Our Governance

SURESH maintains a transparent, accountable and participatory governance framework that ensures institutional integrity, effective decision-making, and sustainable development.

The structure clearly separates policy formulation, oversight and operational management with defined roles, internal controls, and compliance with statutory, financial and ethical standards.

Core governance policies cover financial management, human resources, risk mitigation, safeguarding and transparency, ensuring all activities align with the organization’s mission and long-term goals.

General Body

The General Body is the highest governing authority, providing strategic direction, approving plans, budgets, and audited accounts. It ensures statutory compliance and reviews institutional performance periodically. Policies include structured decision-making, meeting procedures, resolution documentation, and accountability to community priorities.

 

Executive Committee

The Executive Committee oversees policy implementation, program supervision, and financial oversight. Comprising seven experienced members, it monitors operations, approves expenditures, strengthens partnerships and ensures compliance with organizational policies. Key policies cover financial oversight, procurement, risk management, audits and stakeholder engagement, ensuring ethical and credible governance.

He provides strategic leadership, policy direction and institutional guidance to the organization. He plays a key role in strengthening participatory governance, ensuring effective planning, monitoring and evaluation of development programs. His expertise lies in community mobilization, rights-based development and grassroots institution building. His leadership is dedicated to promoting inclusive growth, empowering marginalized communities and achieving sustainable social transformation through community-led development approaches.

He is responsible for administrative leadership, coordination, compliance management and institutional strengthening. His vast experience enhances transparency, accountability and operational efficiency, contributing significantly to effective program delivery and organizational credibility.

He is a dedicated social development practitioner with a B.A. qualification and more than three decades of experience in community-based development. He is entrusted with financial governance, budget planning, resource allocation and maintaining robust financial accountability systems. He ensures prudent utilization of resources for community welfare programs and maintains strict financial discipline. His integrity, experience and commitment reinforce the organization’s financial transparency and institutional trustworthiness.

She is an Intermediate qualified grassroots social development worker actively engaged in community empowerment initiatives. She works closely with women, youth and vulnerable households, facilitating awareness generation, social inclusion and community participation. Her work strengthens participatory development processes and improves the socio-economic conditions of marginalized populations.

She is a qualified Staff Nurse with strong expertise in public health and community healthcare services. She plays a key role in preventive healthcare initiatives, maternal and child health programs, medical outreach camps and health awareness campaigns. Her contribution strengthens community health systems and improves access to essential healthcare services for underserved and vulnerable populations, particularly in rural and remote areas.

She is a 10th standard qualified grassroots women leader and Self-Help Group (SHG) organizer with strong experience in community mobilization. She actively promotes women’s empowerment, livelihood enhancement, financial inclusion and collective action among rural women. Her leadership strengthens community-based organizations and supports sustainable women-led development initiatives at the grassroots level.

He possesses strong expertise in grassroots mobilization, awareness generation and implementation of social welfare and development programs. Advisory Board

The Advisory Board provides expert guidance in legal compliance, education, health, finance, and social development. It supports strategic decision-making, program quality, and risk mitigation. Policies include conflict-of-interest management, advisory documentation and regular sectoral reviews .
